I have always loved to wander and explore. My passion began during my childhood when my family instilled the value of traveling the world. My first trip was to a remote village in Mexico. I immersed myself in the culture of the native people, and this trip gave me a different outlook on the world. learned that despite our cultural differences, we all want to be loved and recognized on a human level. Through this newfound passion for the world, I went on to study international politics at Penn State University. Later, since I was already taking control of my travel dreams, I decided to pursue a career in the travel industry.
The vacations that stand out most to me is the first trip to Europe, last year’s trip to Mexico, and my trip to Costa Rica. My first time in Europe is also a favorite because of the time I spent in Paris. My love for museums made seeing the Mona Lisa and The Winged Victory of Samothrace at the Louvre a monumental travel marker for me. My time in Mexico was notable because it was after the Eagles had just won Super Bowl LII, and all of the players were there. I got to celebrate the victory for my team unlike anyone else!
Costa Rica was my most recent trip. This trip brought me out of my comfort zone, travel encourages you to embrace your fears and push past self-imposed boundaries. I faced my fear of flying on a small craft airplane while visiting Costa Rica. A highlight of the trip for me was staying at Tabacon Resort. The Resort has thermal heated springs from a nearby volcano and a world-renowned spa. However, I admit my absolute favorite part of the vacation was seeing all of the sloths relaxing just like I was.
I have short-term and long-term travel goals. My short-term goal is to make it to Santorini, Greece. My long-term goal is to visit the seven wonders of the world. I have already made my way to Chichen Itza, Mexico, and The Colosseum, Rome. I have The Great Wall of China, Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro, Machu Picchu in Peru, Taj Mahal in India, and Petra in Jordan still to see.
